Extension of the voting period!
After receiving 20.000 Votes, we decided to roll over the voting-period of our Wong and Only Logo Contest until friday.
We decided to send out the voting PIN via private message once more, since the orginial mail has been recognized as SPAM by some providers.
Please note: Only those users of Mister Wong who have registered before the official start of the voting process are allowed to vote (to avoid spam). You can vote for your favourites until friday evening, 24:00 (CEST).
Happy voting for all of those who have not yet participated in the process.
Wong the web!

I think you guys should have made it clear from the start who could/not vote. i am a designer and if i had known i was not eligible to vote then maybe i would not have made a fuss. I don’t think this voting process is fair and transparent; this is my first ever experience and hopefully the last! Goodluck to everyone

..and the obsessive moderation; where is the freedom of speech on this “society”?

Displaying the “most popular” category by default will lead to a situation where many voters will vote for designs of the most-popular-category. That’s a self multiplying process. Further, some voters may not find designs that are “hidden” in other categories”. In my optinon that is not democratic. It is also obvious that publishing interim voting results will affect the final result. The substantial quantity of participating designs makes it impossible for a single voter to get an overview. Therefore, the whole voting process doesn’t provide equal chances for all designers. Your should have thought twice and develop an appropriate voting concept. Too bad!

I haven’t found my logo!? What’s that?

I absolutely agree with Crooky… and I also think that maybe users’ opinions could be helpful, but it shouldn’t be the main in this case. I’m sure that everybody knows that the goal behind was to increase the users. But to me, as a design consultant, a company should take part and be involved in its logo design. A better criteria to me could be that the company and its jury will select 10, for example, and then let the users vote in order to listen them. Of course, Mister Wong can fix its own criteria, I have read the guidelines before submit my designs, I perfectly knew the rules. This is only my opinion as a design consultant.

Hmmmm. never ending story ;-)

´am absolutely agree too with crooky and tm. I think that is not the right way to do the votation. The jury has to do a preselection about 100 designs may be, and then leave the user of MW vote, and between the 12 finalist select the best.

I finally found my logo but I’d like to know how we can know how many votes we got, or our classification, there’s no information about that
October 24th, 2007 at 10:35
BTW, which 12 logos were the best?
October 25th, 2007 at 16:05
Enough time has past from the end of the voting. You can review some information, it will be nice.
