Mister Wong says: Feed Me
No, Mister Wong isn’t hungry. He just wants to let you know a bit about how you can use RSS and Feedreaders.
Content on Mister Wong has an RSS feed and there are lots of feedreaders out there, which you can use. We’ve made it very easy for you to not only get the RSS feed of your own content, but also for any tags, features, and even your friends’ bookmarks and easily add them to your favorite feedreader.
You’ll find a little orange box at the bottom of the page. When you rollover the orange box with your mouse, you’ll notice a little popup box, which will show you lots of feedreaders and sites you can easily add your RSS feed to, as well as the url of your RSS feed.
If you click on the box it will take you to the addtoany page, where you can find the feedreader or site you want add the feed to.
Under “My Bookmarks” you’ll find the little orange box for your RSS feed beneath your tagcloud. All user RSS feeds will look like this http://www.mister-wong.com/rss/user/example/. Add your bookmark feed to your feedreader or give the url to friends, who want to keep up-to-date with your bookmarks.
An interesting way of using feeds is to follow certain tags. For example, if you really enjoy YouTube videos and you want to know what videos others are bookmarking, you can add the RSS feed for the YouTube tag to your feedreader. RSS feeds for tags look like this http://www.mister-wong.com/rss/tags/youtube/. You can add the RSS feed for any tag you’re interested in.
You can even add the RSS feed for our featured bookmarks from the overview page, so you can keep up with the hottest bookmarks. Just use http://www.mister-wong.com/rss/featured/ or click that little orange box and add it to your favorite reader.
