Mister Wong’s New Logo!
The dice have been tossed! We’ve made our decision and today we are crowning the winner of our Mister Wong Logo Contest.
After Mister Wong users chose the top 12 out of over 1800 submitted designs, and the international jury chose the top 3 finalists, the final decision was made by the Mister Wong Team.
The important criteria for us was, of course, the relation to the name “Mister Wong”, the functionality of the logo as a Favicon, as well, in recognizability, but also the natural trademark criteria.
Therefore, we chose the design by Hu Nan from China in a reduced version and are excited to present it to the public: Mister Wong’s New Logo! :)

In the next few days, the logo will be placed on all of Mister Wong’s sites. The new Wong buttons can be found here: http://www.mister-wong.com/stuff/buttons/.
WONG THE WEB and Happy Holidays

the worst one you choose, other ones are better.
my apologies to designer, your work is great but not the best.

I think the logo is very fitting as it incorporates the well recognized chinese name-stamps which I have always felt were a beautiful standalone graphic, with each one an original print. The bold Capitalization of the letters is also becoming. well done Hu Nan, don’t worry about the negative comments… I too entered the competition but I unlike some, am not a sorry loser.

No… my apologies to designer but… no
There is no conection bettwen logo and the profile of the site-application
But if there is one… It might be a very deep one.

not a person a mascot represents web 2.0 keep the existing logo (star included)
So I see that the new logo meets all the requirements given at the beginning … *ironic*

hi everybody out there.
it’s hard to believe, but when the whole thing started, they were looking for a new mascot (!) that should go along with the mister wong logo… now a design has won that doesn’t have the quality of a mascot and the whole logotype is changed into something new, but not into something better.
a very strange way to end a competition that started with some really nice ideas…

Congratuliations to the winner. But I think there was many other logos that looked better!
This one looks “old school” and I don’t understand how it can represent Mister Wong???

Frischer Schwung durch das neue Logo! Gefällt mir sehr gut - neuer Pep!

Excellent choice. Very simple, clear and true to the Asian theme of Mister Wong.

Didn’t see the others, but I like the new logo, Hu Nan. A belated congratulations to you.
February 12th, 2008 at 00:49

I don’t know the old logo, but I’m fine with the new one. Congratulations to the winner.
