Tweet those links, but don’t lose them
Last Friday, I attended the Social Networking for Business Conference held at The Parlor Live in Bellevue, Washington. Jason Preston of Parnassus Group talked about twitter and did an amazing job. One of the great things about twitter is sharing links with others. However, you can easily lose track of those links. We love twitter and saw this problem, so we came up with a solution of our own. Every time you save a bookmark to Mister Wong you are given the option to share it directly on twitter as well. We even shorten the link. This way you can share your links on twitter and archive them and have access to them at all times on Mister Wong. If you have a Mister Wong account and are using the Firefox toolbar, then tweeting your bookmarks is simple. And if you don’t have a Mister Wong account yet, signup and now and start tweeting your links.

This is very cool. When following a couple hundred + people, it’s very easy to lose track of those important links. This is a great idea. Thanks for the share!

It has always been difficult to keep track of tweets, links, followers, etc. on Twitter. Tools like this are essential for organizing and taking full advantage of all of the marketing potential that Twitter offers. Great Post!

Good idea! I’ll start Twittering links…it’s a great way to get sites out…especially because of the url shortener.

To my knowledge Twitter keeps those Tweets indexed. By using hashes (#MyHashTag) with your Tweets you can search for and find your links with Twitter search function.

@milind007 The difference in use name shouldn’t be an issue. Make sure your info is right. Also try logging in to Twitter in another tab before posting your link to Mr Wong. May want to tell the browser to remember you and store that password as well.

Actually, older tweets even with # don’t show up on twitter search. I am not sure how long they do show up, but I am sure they have to be pretty recent. Even if twitter indexes them, they don’t give you any fast and easy way to find them. That’s the point, I’m making. If you use the Firefox toolbar to save bookmarks to Mister Wong, you have a simple way of tweeting and saving links, which you will always be able to find again.
